Outdoor Living Spaces & Lighting
Fire pits, seat walls, outdoor kitchens, and low-voltage lighting that turn your backyard into a destination after dark.
Santa Barbara evenings are mild, but a lot of backyards go dark and unused once the sun is down. Outdoor living work gives the yard places to sit, eat, and gather, plus lighting so you can use them at night.
We build seat walls, fire pits and fire tables, built-in benches, and outdoor kitchens as part of the yard's structure, so there's less loose furniture to move and store. Seating is sized for the number of people you actually have over.
Lighting is low-voltage, run from a transformer with a timer, so it comes on at dusk by itself. That covers lit steps and paths for safe footing and uplights on trees and walls. Our gallery includes a Montecito deck with built-in benches and a fire table.

Common questions
Outdoor Living Spaces & Lighting: questions we hear
Is low-voltage landscape lighting hard to maintain?
No. The fixtures use LED lamps and run off a transformer, so power use is low. It helps to check fixtures and wiring now and then, since plants grow and soil shifts.
Can a fire pit go anywhere in the yard?
No. Fire features need clearance from structures, trees, and overhanging branches, and local fire rules apply, especially in higher-risk areas like parts of Montecito and the foothills. We lay it out with those limits in mind.
