Modern Stepping Stone & Turf Grid

The front yard was a mix of struggling lawn and bare dirt, and the homeowner wanted something modern that still felt green.

We laid a grid of square concrete pavers set into turf, with a curvilinear gravel bed for ornamental grasses and a multi-trunked palm as the focal point. Low-voltage uplights were placed at every key plant.

The geometry reads clean from the street by day, and the uplighting turns the whole composition into a designed scene at night.
